Floating Bubble

Variety leads their Friday story on The New York film Festival with:

"NEW YORK -- Steven SoderberghSteven Soderbergh's experimental "Bubble," one of six films the helmer is creating for Mark CubanMark Cuban and Todd Wagner's 2929 Entertainment2929 Entertainment to be released in theaters, on TV and DVD all at the same time, will premiere at the 43rd New York Film Festival."

So, what does this segment of the Toronto International Film Festival's August 9 press release mean?

"BUBBLE Steven Soderbergh, USA, Masters, North American Premiere
In this romantic tragedy, a bizarre love triangle is born at a doll factory in a small town fallen on hard times. Featuring a cast of non-professional actors from the Ohio location, Soderbergh brings this tragic story to life with startling realism."

Theatrical/DVD premiere?... A lot of movies play Toronto first, then use NY to lauch their runs.
