Chapter and worse: overheard
In Bruges writer-director Martin McDonagh at Sunday's "Film Church": "'Director': It almost sounds like something you'd say to a girl in a bar to get her to go to bed with you. Whereas 'I'm a writer' is something you say to a girl to get her to leave you alone." ... "I thought they said the movie was called 'YouTube 3-D.' That was confusing." ... "You'll never lose a dime on a film you don't buy."
