Yma Sumac was 86; inspired the amazing "Yma Dream"


The Peruvian singer with the notorious multi-octave range has died at 86. Among her accomplishments was inspiring this sketch from Anne Bancroft's 1970 television special, "Annie: The Women in the Life of a Man," adapted from the New Yorker piece by Thomas Meehan.
