Anyone else notice...
... that imdb is now doing 5 second delay between the load of the advertising at the top of the page and the content you are there to see?
I was thinking it was my computer or connection, but it's been on multiple computers and for a few weeks that I've been noticing this new ad spin.

You don't suppose they consider their advertising more important than giving us free content, do you!?! God, those @$$HOLES!!!

I use Firefox and it lags a tad. Not really enough for me to notice though.

I use Firefox with the AdBlock extension. I think I told it to block any ads from starting up at the top of the page.

Dave, there's a name for this phenomenon: Capitalism. A.K.A., You don't get something for nothing. It's like when you're pimping your hos. You expect them to bring home money every night, right?

I never noticed because my computer is an old block of plastic and the ad itself doesn't load up before the rest of the contents display.

the ad block feature is good but it doesn't let some of my other programs come up. technology is a bitch.
