MasterCard guerilla-ed Charlie & The Choclate Factory with a commerical for adults with a hipster vesion og "Pure Imagination" from Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.

Now that they have the kids market cornered they should be appealing to adults. Adults who loved the movie as kids. I know a lot of friends who are put off by it thinking it is a kiddie movie.

I'm glad that Warners is stepping up finally to embrace the promotion of CATCF beyond the kiddie appeal. It's going to be a classic when all is said and done.

I don't think these ads have anything to do with WB... it would be MasterCard taking advantage of a wave they saw coming...
