Great Tip From A Reader (RP)
The Sony promos from Nip/Tuck's premiere - which include a new Dick & Jane trailer and first looks at campaigns for Freedomland and All The King's Men can be found here.
Click on Kelly Carlson and a Java theater comes up with all the pieces.

Sam Jackson appears to be channeling the look of Bokeem "Fathead" Woodbine in Ray...

the lesbo scene on Nip/Tuck last week was HOT-HOT-HOT...gotta love Ryan Murphy.
I loved the idea of a studio sponsoring the entire night of programming with trailers...too bad there was only one really good one...ALL THE KINGS MEN looks f'ing fantastic as far as I'm concerned. FREEDOMLAND looks craptacular...A Film By Joe "America's Sweethearts" Roth.

Great column today, Dave. One thing:
"We can have a discussion some other time about the cheap out that American Beauty took out of that same first act discussion. The punchline of the film, which we are in on from the first scene, has all the schmaltzy comfort of "Some Of These Days," a song that was perfectly used in both sincerity and cynicism in Bob Fosse's All That Jazz. But this is a whole different column…"
Please revisit this subject the next time you have a lull.
