It took a long while...

But Jessica Sharzer's excellent Sundance entry of 2004 finally arrives... on Showtime and Lifetime.

she may have found two networks with about 12 viewers. total. showtime doesn't even have the nudity value that cinemax has.

I've heard decent things about the new Showtime show Weeds. Haven't been able to catch it yet though. Anyone see it?

Weeds, thus far, has been terrific...it's what Desperate Housewives wishes it was, with the added twist of weed. It's smart, funny, dark, acerbic, and Mary-Louise is the ultimate MILF...who also enjoys her weed. What's better than that? Also, returning from the dead, is Elizabeth Perkins...she's so fucking good she should get an Emmy or Golden Globe nod next year. It's been a surprisingly solid show and I will continue to watch.

Elizabeth Perkins is a great 2nd lead. The best friend role. She has it down to perfection. I see Kevin Nealon is on this as well. A good cast.

WEEDS started out fantastic, but in the last couple of weeks, it's gotten morbid and strange just for the sake of being morbid and strange. Sure hope this is just a temporary glitch.
