In The Year 2000....
Will this communal experience replace the movies... or the image of an audience with 3D gasses?

This image actually comes from a blog entry from The Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.

I kind of hope that digital projection and 3-D take off. I watched Chicken Little in the theater, rather than waiting for video solely because of the 3-D. I think it's great. And hell, if it gets James Cameron back to making movies, all the better.

The 3-D was the best thing about Chicken Little. Now all they have to do is apply it to a good movie.

So why do all these people have Viewmasters? Didn't see anything in the article explaining it... just a coincidence?
