You know, it's mind boggling the amount of time and effort that goes into these shorts. Clearly made by talented artists. And yet they go for the lamest, most cliched ideas, movie in-jokes, etc. If you're going to spend weeks on a project, how about writing a real script and coming up with your own characters and not borrowing from yesterday's hit films. This is the reason I avoid iFilm with all the lame Matrix and Star Wars parodies, clogging up the bandwidth and nothing to say.

I agree, Martin.
Sundance Channel has been showing Harvie Krumpet a lot lately. That's one of the best animated shorts I can remember seeing (not that I’ve see a ton of them). I definitely recommend seeking that one out.

Makes me want to watch Indiana Jones or Jurassic Park or a Chaplin silent flick...anything but that again!

Eddie, yes! Harvey Krumpet is really great. And it may just be the Australian in me, but last year's Oscar Animated Short nominee The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello was the most inventive animated film I've seen in a long time. Will be interesting to see the feature-length films that come out of these two shorts.
