If these are representative of the rest of the fest, looks like it's gonna be a dull year. I think a couple of those even premiered somewhere else (Cannes?).

Wind that shakes the barley won the golden palm at Cannes.
Severance already premiered.
I know people who've seen Shortbus but don;t know if or where it offcially premiered.

Tartan Films will release "La Tourneuse de pages" in the United States.
Comingsoon.net has the trailer of Johnnie To's "Election 2" (aka Triad Election), which will also be shown in 2006 Toronto Film Festival. (This movie was also in the Midnight series of 2006 Cannes Film Festival)

I can only say that one Germen movie from Sony Pictures Classics will be shown in 2006 Telluride Film Festival.
