Travolta's career is truly one of the most remarkable in recent memory. The guy has risen to a couple of great performances, and (what appears by accident) done some great movies. At the same time he's done some of the worst schlock I've ever seen. He's managed to stick around for roughly 30 years, I can't tell you why. Get Shorty is one of my favorite movies, and I always thought he was robbed for THAT one, not Pulp Fiction. Either way, i don't think he can bounce from this.

Sorry, but the RZ fat jokes are old, stale and a little sad by now. Not just here, but everywhere. Same thing with the fat jokes about Kate Winslet.

If they'd learned anything from PRODUCERS, they would've cast Fierstein, not Travolta, and then it would be worthwhile.

Yeah, seriously, I wanted Fierstein. We obviously don't get a chance to see the original casts of these shows down here so when movies like Rent and The Producers actually cast the original members it at least feels like we're seeing some form of what was originally on stage.
