This has just jumped ahead into my Top 5 most awaited Fall movies. Not for the sex - it looks funny as hell!

great. just what i needed. another hedonistic film about the sexually obsessed underbelly of New York and every bad stereotype that comes along with it.

what a crock of shit. 10 bucks says the trailer just showed you anything and everything worth seeing.

I don't have a problem per se with films about hedonism or sexual obsession. But, this trailer looks pretty profoundly uninteresting to me. Doesn't tell you about any characters except the 'repressed sex therapist' woman (Ooh! What stunning irony!) and it seems to be very pleased with itself for being 'shocking'.
Plus, JCM's intro is not funny.

BTW, for those who don't live in New York, that trailer is pretty indicative of the lifestyle here... all we do is have sex 24 hours a day...usually on camera.

I kind of preferred the teaser for this more. It was elegant, playful, and dialogue-free. Still looking forward to this movie, but I wasn't a big Hedwig fan and I'm not convinced JCM can cohere his good ideas into a film without coming across as self-indulgent and silly. But I do know a lot of people who've seen this and liked it.

It looks fun.

But even it's only so-so as a movie, new ground is being broken and this film will be remembered for it.

I do wonder if potential viewers who sat through films like The Brown Bunny, Romance and even Baise-Moi will be freaked by the mixture of gay and straight sex. You have to give JCM credit for having huge balls (insert your own joke) if nothing else.

Any man that created Hedwig and the Angry Inch will get my $10 any day of the week.
