A Funny Thing
I am watching Clint Eastwood on Larry King Live. Interesting enough.
But Larry keeps saying that Letters From Iwo Jima is a "brilliant, brilliant film" and I find myself listening to him, as though he deserves creedence.
As my review suggests, I like the film a lot. But it's Larry King!!!
It's so easy to forget to be suspect just because someone is on TV and they make a statement out loud.

My favorite Larry King film endorsement was for Bringing Down the House, for which I believe he claimed it was, "One of the funniest movies of all time!"

David: You have to remember that even a stopped clock is right twice a day. That's what I tell myself whenever I find myself agreeing with Pat Buchanan.

Didn't King's quote for Fantastic Four get on the box? Ya know... "It's Good!" or something to that effect.

(DP, you fixed a typo, but "creedence" is still spelled credence. A guy could make a lot of money with a blog spellchecker.)
Larry King, is he still alive? Perhaps it's the effect for which zombies are a metaphor -- eating your brain.

It's so funny to read that, Joe, as - in those few instances - when I've found myself nodding to something said by Buchanan, I immediately question everything, run out and play a videogame, donate to some random cause or listen to the Hives to stop the progression of turning into my parents.

SJR: Consider this -- Buchanan argued AGAINST the invasion of Iraq.

I once rode in an elevator with King at the CNN Building in L.A. He has a huge head! I mean...huge. And he looked ancient and creepy.

Was he filming a movie cameo? He seems to do that a lot.
