A Clever Idea

And by the way... the first of what are sure to be many Dreamgirls sing-a-longs took place a couple fo weeks ago, at an outdoor theater at Outfest.

And next, the grunt-a-long version of 300.

Not an entirely new concept. Disney's been doing sing-a-long versions of their films at the El Cap for years. And don't forget the popular sing-a-longs they do at the Hollywood Bowl.

Will New Line be offering these prints across the country during it's initial run or will they just wait until 2nd run and rep cinema for midnight shows?

Fun idea. Now it will definitely outgross Wedding Crashers.

I saw it last night. It was a fun time. Not sure I'd be up for singing along, but I'm sure to experience something like that is all kinds of fun.

Who doesnt love word art? It's snazzy. I also hope they do something like this all over the place because who doesnt want to scream out; "I AM NOW A CHECKERBOARD CHICK!"

The Sing-Along Version starts Friday (8/3) in a megaplex near you.

By the way, what do they mean by "sing along tracks"? Who wrote this copy? It seems very amateurish.
