Don't know where else to put this: The male who won a Best Actress award blind item was revealed today. In truth, he shared it with the actress he impersonated.

Yeah, we've been covering it on my site. Pretty interesting. I am assuming that Timmy was Shimmy's sometime stand-in. Not quite as controversial if Alice Brady had actually been a man in drag in the films all of the time instead of some of the time. The best part to me is the stranger who mysteriously went on stage and took Brady's Oscar and was never seen nor heard from again. Somewhere out there is an Oscar from 1939 that was never claimed. The real Alice Brady, so the story goes, got a plaque or something a week later. The man is rumored to be Timmy's real life lover.

Would make a great film or Broadway play. It's already been decided that Jonathan Rhys Meyers should play Timmy.

That would make a pretty awesome movie. Especially if Arthur Blake's man walked off with Oscar, and gave it Arthur Blake. This definitely has to become a movie at some point. Or it could become a musical that is turned in a movie at some point. Either way; it's a rather fascinating story.
