So it's As Good As It Gets: The Retirement Years.

Just a random question, does anyone know why the Taj Mahal is only ever seen from that one perspective?

Considering this film had a budget that helped them shoot in Agra and at the Great Wall of China, you'd think they'd come up with better last-wish gimmicks than "Old people skydiving!" This trailer definitely doesn't convince me that this will be Oscar-worthy.

Somehow I'm not surprised that Morgan Freeman is narrating and Jack is over the top...

Jeff... technically... this is why: http://z.about.com/d/goindia/1/0/u/0/-/-/TajBack.jpg . I would use an IMG tag, but this place does not explain their tags. So... that's why. Remember though; all of that land you see in that pic was supposed to be for the BLACK Taj Mahal. Which they unfortunately never built.

Is this the movie version of the short-lived NBC series 20 Good Years, starring John Lithgow and Jeffrey Tambor? Was'nt given enough of a chance IMO, and there was a episode where they were dating the same girl and she wanted a 3some. Hilarious.

Anyway, I'm a sucker for anything with Morgan and Jack, and them together in one movie is too much for me to resist. Hope the underwhelming trailer means that the movie has some weight, plus it may get Oscar notices because its fits the demographic of the average Academy Member and their current predisposition. Could be this years As Good as it gets.

Hey DP, maybe you should also put up some matching pics of Morgan Freeman too. Lets see what the years have done to him.

Morgan Freeman narrates AGAIN?

Is it possible to even take him seriously anymore?

Looks like Jack has had his eyes done.

The Bucket List image of Jack is really disconcerting. Really it is... really.

I love Jack in About Schmidt. That was an awesome movie about growing old and more worthy of Jack than this...thing.

I think this movie will rest on how weighty their bucket list is.

If the list is of things that are weighty and significant and complex it will be something I look forward to. If it just reads like a laundry list of aging baby boomer desires...meh.

That shot of them getting ready to jump off the plane does not inspire.

In other words...I hope it has more weight than Venus, which gave new meaning to the words; vapid, sleazy and shallow.

Neither Jack nor Morgan are baby boomers, although Rob Reiner is.

Yeah, I know. That doesn't mean that they won't be playing them in the movie or that the movie won't appeal to those values.

I'm just sayin'.
