What Happens In 2004 Doesn't Stay In 2004... Right?

Woah, woah, woah, wait a minute - are you saying the Clintons aren't genuine?

I gotta sit down.

Whoo hoo! Obama gets the Clinton endorsement!

How about a politician isn't genuine. That would be more accurate Josh.

Hey, David, I thought "context counts... at least if you are an honest person."

What happens three blog posts ago doesn't stay three blog posts ago... Right?

Now sure what that means, Mystery.

Are you suggesting that The Man From Hope was not all about hope for his entire career... until 2 months ago?

I note that it is 2004. You can see John Kerry all over the video. What context is missing?

I doubt that Slick Willy would think you're being fair in referencing a 25-second snippet from 2004 as relevant to what's happening now. I think he could point to examples of where Obama was using fear, while he was providing food for thought. He also might argue that while Obama has co-opted HOPE as a political slogan, that the Clintons offer genuine solutions to hope in.

But mainly, I think its all frivolous politicking, and was just trying to be clever. I understand the point you're making.

Actually, the same clip popped up on Keith Olbermann's show last night. Obama should use it in an ad. Seriously.

If it was just some sentence, MP, I would agree. But he was "The Man From Hope," a Governor from frickin' Arkansas who rode very much the same wave that Obama's been riding. That is the hypocrisy.

The clip is just another illustration.

I am sick to death of all the talking points that the Clintons have shoved down the media's throat in the last two week. Sick.

It seems to me that we haven't gotten into the zone of ugliness that was destuctive to the party until Hill & Bill got their backs up against the wall.

The Clintons lying???

Will wonders ever cease?

Ladies and gentlemen, Richard Nash!

If that is his real name.

Hillary really needs to shut the fuck off.

Hillary really needs to shut the fuck up. CORRECTION! YAY!

Actually, she seemed less shrill tonight. Shows what winning can do for you.

Big winner tonight has to be McCain: clinches his nomination, and gets the other race going another two months, if not four, if not six.

The Democratic race going another few months isn't necessarily a bad thing: in every state they compete, Obama and Clinton generate excitement and register more voters. Also, it used to be that the primaries started in March and ran through the Spring.
