I have been enthralled, enjoyed or at least been engaged by what Kaufman has written. But I really do not know about this. I fear it is a case of everyone wanting to work with a great writer hoping that the great writer will be a great director. If it works, everyone looks great but if it doesn't the only person who looks bad is the Kaufman... everyone will be granted the charity line... "well, you gave Charlie his shot..."
No one can predict a movie off three clips each of which is less than a minute... but... again... I.... really... don't know about this...
