Eagle Eye people! EAGLE EYE! Also; go check out the lovely and awesome Kelly MacDonald in Choke. Sam Rockwell is in it as well, but he's not on Kelly MacDonald's level of awesome. Most of his awesome was revoked in large part to that dancing scene in Charlie's Angels. Easily one of the creepier moments ever on screen.

Will anyone here be participating in "Pulpit Freedom Sunday" this weekend?

You mean someone is going around liberating pulpits from churches?

You'd think so. Apparently though the pastors feel they are liberating themselves and their flock from the darned IRS.

saw both 'eagle eye' and 'choke'...neither very good...
last night saw 'body of lies'....some great scenes but overall disappointment....although it might be the first 'sand' movie to make some money.....

Had no hopes for Eagle Eye but bad news about Choke and Body of Lies, I was looking forward to those.

Good thing Searchlight picked up Wrestler and Slumdog because so far this year has been a big disappointment (Choke marks their 100th release, to bad it wasn't a more notable milestone).

The UK Sun has posted a review of Quantum of Solace. Confirming the 105 minute run time.

Still wondering if that 104 minute time is WITH or WITHOUT end credits, which possibly haven't been cut yet and would inch it up to around 115.

If it's 104 WITH credits, and you factor in the prolonged opening title sequence, that's like 90 minutes of Bond. I appreciate "lean and mean," but if Shia LaBeouf warrants 118 minutes, Bond really shouldn't weigh in with a running time appropriate to a minor 1987 Woody Allen flick.

Can I assume TOWELHEAD is not catching on, at all? It hasn't expanded in L.A., and has already been bumped from the Arclight to the smaller arthouse Sunset 5.

This year's Reservation Road?

Saw The Visitor yesterday and it was really lovely. I'd love Tom McCarthy for his screenplay and Jenkins for his lead performance get some awards traction. I particularly liked the scene where Jenkins' character played the drums in the park. If you don't smile during that scene then you have no soul or heart or eyes or ears or anything within that is able to discern shit from gold.
