Seems a little unfair to me, what with the gender stereotypes and all.

All I can tell you, Hops, is that I would never let that woman be seen carrying a pumpkin, a broom, or apple. She SCREAMS Disney villain.

And it's the Republicans who have lowered the discourse...

When I saw Cindy lift that pumpkin a cold shiver went up my spine!

Why is she trick-or-treating down an airplane aisle?

Josh: we are coming for people like you. You can run, you can hide, but we mostly come out ALL THE DAMN TIME. Mostly.

And you consider yourself a fucking Liberal, IOI?

Let me respond to that, Josh...
Yes.
The Republicans in this campaign are not only lowering the discourse, they are race baiting, fear mongering, and outright lying if you use my standard that to willfully twist the truth into something that doesn't come close to resembling it (as opposed to arguing detail) is a lie.
Me making a visual joke of Cindy McCain looking like a Disney witch - a visual compliment, actually, albeit with thorns - is not anywhere close to "Barack Obama works closely with a terrorist" as opposed to the truth, which is that reagan's best friend's widow, Mrs Annenberg, chose to put Bill Ayers on a bipartisan board because he is a highly respected educational thinker in Illinois, which is the simple truth. And that is just one for instance.
This moral equivalency crap has to go. It makes liars out of decent people. Obama mentions Keating... which was a real case... so smearing him with Ayers as "not telling the full truth" and not admitting to anything more than "he was a guy in the neighborhood," which is another intentional lie is a-okay... the same thing... equal smears... "You should hear what they say at Mr Obama's rallys!" Not honest.
And so you can choke on it, here is the actual quotation:
"This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood, who's a professor of English in Chicago, who I know and who I have not received some official endorsement from. He's not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis.
And the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values, doesn't make much sense, George."

Now that you're on a roll, David, let's hear a defense of Rev. Wright.
Oh wait, is that race-baiting? Nevermind. How about instead a spirited defense of Schumacher's PHANTOM OF THE OPERA?
Then we can all assess which seems more dubious.

I've got a better idea, Che Sucks: how about you defend Phil Gramm?

Is that really all you have in the tank, Che sucks? Phantom?
I must be a true master, cause if you have to dig back to grossly overstating my position on Phantom, I' ve had a great... what?... four years?
There is no need to defend Rev Wright... not running for office... his rage is not reflective of any of Obama's public works...

Dave: Don't be pissed. Consider this: You're right, this is all they have in the tank now. They're wasted. They're done.
And I cannot tell you how amazed I am that the first African-American elected U.S. President will win in a frigiin' landslide.
