Equal Time For A Jewish Republican

Don't get me started on how a viral video that can't get it together to offer link or embed codes reflects on the Luddite nature of those involved... but here is a link to see Jackie rant.

Jackie Mason acting outraged at Silverman for supporting Obama and telling it like it is.
Interesting, coming from someone who replaced his opening act comic because he was of Palestinian descent.

God bless him. Every when we're in total disagreement, he still puts me on the floor.
Meanwhile: just how many Jewish Republicans ARE there? Four?

"God bless him. Every when we're in total disagreement, he still puts me on the floor."
Seriously? You laughed at that? All it mustered out of me was a bug-eyed stare in disbelief.
Love the canned laughter and applause.

No one makes me scramble for a remote sooner than Jackie Mason.
He goes and finds the opposite of funny and does that each time he opens his mouth.

Yes, I laughed. Jackie is my god. I've seen him live at least half a dozen times and find him not only funny but very common sensical, and I often quote him. For example, whenever someone asks me why I don't ski, I reply, "You know why there are so many Jewish surgeons? Because Gentiles ski."

Plus he's one of the last of the practitioners of the ancient Borscht-Belt school of humor that I find impossible to resist.

Jackie Mason in CADDYSHACK II is one of the most awful comedic performances in film history. I liked him better as the voice of that Hanna Barbera baboon. Or was that somebody aping Mason? Who knew?

Jackie's a comic, not an actor. Unless he's doing his own material, the results can indeed be dire. Of course, did ANYBODY come off well in CADDYSHACK II?

Strangely enough, Chevy Chase manages to steal every second of his five minute cameo.
I just think it's funny to hear Mason rail on Hollywood. Had the kids responded to him the way they did to Dangerfield, who knows where he'd be?
But this one scene from CADDYSHACK II tells all:
