That was lovely. I'm only saddened that they couldn't get Zooey Deschanel, Patrick Fugit, Jena Malone, and/or Lou Taylor Pucci to cameo.

They wouldn't have any place in a spoof like that. None of them has appeared in a mumblecore/Slackavetes movie. Notice how it "premiered" at SXSW...
If the video intended to spoof cliche Sundance movies then...

The funniest thing about that video is that there's more drama in its 1:47 running time than the typical mumblecore feature has in its 75 minutes...

I guess I was thinking more generalized independent film trailers (think The Go Getter).

Pretty accurate recreation of 50% of the trailers I've ever seen at the Laemmle's Sunset. (The other 50% of course being gay coming-of-age comedies featuring a rave quote from Kevin Thomas.)
