J&J&J

In this economy, even chick flicks are now doing the Pirates thing and shooting the sequels as they shoot the first films. So, with that in mind, here is the premiere of the one-sheet for the sequel to Julie & Julia (whose one-sheet premiered today on FirstShowing.net) , set for August 2010...

Oh Christ, this is a Nora Ephron film? I was kind of looking forward to it until I saw that.

Is this a joke? If so, the subtlety eluded me somehow.
I hadn't heard anything about Ephron & Co. shooting two films back-to-back to be released a year apart.
It doesn't sound like such a bad idea, though.
I'd rather see "Julie and Julia and Joe" than, say, "Terminator Salvation," "Ice Age 3," "Angels and Demons" or even "Transformers 2" any old day.

Yes, it's a joke. Just not a particularly funny one.

Ha ha ha! That is a SCREAM!!!! Can't stop laughing.

"Passion. Ambition. Batter" would have been funnier, Dave.

The ass talks!

... (get it?)

I wanted to say that I get the joke, but I don't. Why Brad Pitt? How did we get from point A (the original poster) to here?

Leave being funny to the professionals, Dave. And to the semi-professionals, and the talented amateurs.

Oh hell, just leave it.
