Portrait Of The Last Moonshiner - "I got a 2" ---- and a 6" tongue and knows how to use both of 'em."
In our DP/30, Johnny Knoxville refers to an interview he did with a moonshiner from Tennessee last October, describing the man as, "a ribald old codger and one of the most unbelievable som’ bitches I have ever met. I really wish I could look upon all your faces when Popcorn starts to discuss his wife. Shit howdy, here’s Marvin “Popcorn” Sutton."

Interesting dude. An 18 month sentence for moonshine and firearms seems ridiculously severe, unless that charming old coot had a prior record nobody's bothering to speak of. A suspended sentence and some monitoring could've served society just as well and maybe he wouldn't have chosen to leave in his car like that, but who knows what he was dealing with on the inside already.

I believe that is the case Hallick. The posting where Knoxville describes his death said he was convicted of moonshining and possessing a firearm as a felon. What really surprised me was that that dude was only about 60 years old!
