Summer Movie Survey Results, Pt 1

Okay... so the survey says that 199 people have completed their survey. The results are hardly shocking, but might be of interest. I was amazed by how many people started and abandoned the survey... over 2800 starts that didn't get finished. That should offer some bracing perspective on online surveying.

More info... and surveys that I don't have to sort by hand... to come...

I think the low complete level is a function of the survey mechanics being really unwieldy. That's why I gave up.

I abandoned it because every movie was listed under every category.

Agreed, Dan--that's what I meant by the survey mechanics. Quite frankly, I'm surprised that 199 people finished the survey.

And you couldn't just submit for the comedy or the blockbuster, you had to do every single one.

The survey mechanics were horrible...and this comes from a market research guy.

I'm shocked Wolverine isn't at the very least in the top 10. Regardless of a leaked print that may or may not have been seen by uber geeks only...And I'd argue the general moviegoing public had no idea the print was leaked...I think the opening weekend for this movie alone will push it to Top 10 status
