k-big (good one) is the bomb. she understands that directing action effectively is all about caring about the characters, gripping the viewer by building tension and intensity, and not just bombarding us with forgettable fast-paced, frenetic, choppily-edited adhd sequences like so many pretenders today; when kath's on form she's one of the best in the biz (hopefully 'hurt locker' signals bigelow's return to the highway after her career veered off the road into the bush and stalled out)

it would seem swinton can play any role convincingly, arguably the most versatile actress working today, rather phenomenal
