Re Kung Fu Panda: I've heard that certain gay men are into "bears."

This may be stating the obvious, but Dustin Lance Black (who received perhaps the biggest written by credit in movie trailer history for Milk) has written roughly half of the series Big Love. Or is there another answer I'm not seeing.

In addition to Black, showrunners Olsen & Schaffer are both gay (and a couple? can't recall), and Big Love's dealing with polygamy has been endlessly analyzed as a way for its writers to make comments about marriage in America.
